Hi, I’m Matthew, the collector behind The Canadian Coin Broker.
I’ve always been a collector, and my father is a coin collector too. But when my son recently started showing an interest in coins, I began taking the hobby more seriously. It became something we could share together.
That family connection is at the heart of The Canadian Coin Broker. For me, collecting is about more than the coins themselves. It’s the time spent together, the details we learn to spot, and the excitement of finding something worth a closer look.
Through The Canadian Coin Broker, I share that curiosity with other collectors, from the Canadian coins in our everyday change to commemorative releases and collector pieces.

We explore coin varieties, mint errors, designs and the history behind them, with explanations you can follow whether you’re opening your first roll or adding to a collection you’ve built over years.
